Wine Maker’s Notes
Koutsoygiannopoulos is the name of the family that produces the wine. The winery was founded in 1870 by the brothers Grigoris and Dimitris Koutsoyannopoulos and is located in Vothonas. The vineyards are located in the Exo Gialos area of Fira (Aspra Homata).
Lava is a fresh wine stored in stainless tanks, with deep ruby colour, round velvet taste with the minimum tannin (acridity) and ripe fruits aroma.
Perfectly matches with roast beef, red and spicy sauces. Best served at 17-18oC.
