Tasting Notes
Deep amber color with a caramel hue that swiftly prepares the mind for what’s coming. Caramel indeed, then coffee and spices mixed with all kinds of nuts and dried fruit, underlined by a creamy note. These warm aromas then
faithfully translate themselves as flavors, all wrapped up in velvet as time has smoothed the edges and bound everything together in perfect harmony. Excellent balance in its structure with an ever-surprising lightness and
elegance that seems to always beat the test of time. This is, after all, what we have always striven for in our Vinsanto. This wine can play a different role at every temperature and combination, from lightly chilled to ice cold as a refreshing dessert along with a fine creamy cheese, dark chocolate, or crème brûlée. At room temperature, even, on its own, as a comforting night cup on a special occasion. Savouring every sip.
