Wine maker’s notes
Aidani is a rare indigenous variety of Santorini with a rich, elegant bouquet. This aromatic grape is a typical blending variety, commonly used in the Vinsanto blend. Back in 2004, Yiannis Argyros decided to introduce a 100% Aidani single variety wine, after realizing its great potential.
Light yellow color, with elegant notes of tropical fruits, scented herbs, and flowers. Silky texture, well-balanced acidity, and a refreshing aftertaste.
Fermentation is done only in stainless steel vats.
Excellent as an aperitif wine and accompaniment of fresh salads, rice dishes, seafood, and fish. Best served at 8-10°C.
