Filiria is an organic wine with a complex character, is one of the top-ranking wines of the Company, and is produced at the privately-owned Boutari vineyard in Goumenissa, the Filiria estate.
Vinification: Typical red wine vinification.
Aging: For at least 12 months in French oak barrels (Allier, Nevers 250 lt).
Characteristics: Wonderful deep red color with violet tints. Particularly rich and complex aroma, dominated by plum, sun-dried tomato, and olive. The fruity character of the overripe red fruit coexists with the fine aromas of wood and spices. Soft taste, with a rich body, an excellent structure, finesse, and a long aromatic aftertaste.
Serving temperature: 16-18 °C
Food pairing: Game and red meats with sweet sauces. Ideal for yellow cheeses.
