Vinification
100% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in the Xino Nero and Agios Panteleimonas regions at an altitude of 650 meters. White vinification at low temperatures, with fermentation taking place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on the lees for a total of 5 months.
Tasting & pairing Notes
Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, and underripe tropical fruits. Notes of stone fruits with a hint of citrus. Refreshing on the palate, with vibrant freshness, balanced acidity, and a lingering finish. Pair it with shellfish, grilled or fried fish and shrimp, light lemony dishes, vegetable-based recipes and white cheeses. Best served at 9-12°C.

Renowned Santorini winemaker Artemis Karamolegos is expanding his passion and expertise beyond the island, bringing his deep knowledge of Assyrtiko and a fresh vision to the high-altitude vineyards of Amyndeo in northern Greece.
His new winery, Arktos Elevation Vineyards, is nestled at an impressive 700 meters above sea level in Amyndeo, Florina. This unique terroir, shaped by a mountainous landscape and a continental climate, presents both challenges and incredible rewards. With meticulous attention to every step of the winemaking process, Artemis Karamolegos aims to craft refined, complex wines that highlight the exceptional character of this land.
Focusing on two of Greece’s most celebrated varieties – Assyrtiko and Xinomavro – Arktos Elevation Vineyards is debuting its first wines in spring 2025.
