About Parparoussis Winery
The Winery was founded in 1974 by Athanassios Parparoussis oenologist.
Winery’s premises is at the family estate at Bozaitika of Patras, Peloponnese, where the vinification, maturity, aging, and bottling take place. New French oak barrels are used for aging and maturity.
The majority of the wines are produced from the privately-owned vineyards which also include 10 hectares at Movri Achaias and at Bozaitika of Patras. Also, there is standard cooperation with 7 grape producers.
The primary goal is to promote the Greek indigenous varieties which have a unique character.
It is a family winery, Thanassis Parparoussis oenologist and daughters Erifili, viticulture-oenologist, and Dimitra, economics.
