Wine maker’s notes
This delightful dry rosé is made from the French Syrah variety planted in the coolest part of the Estate’s vineyard, which is exclusively reserved for the making of rosé wine. The grapes are judiciously harvested at optimum ripeness and the juice is fermented in inox tanks at 18°C. The resulting wine has a clear pomegranate color. Enjoy chilled at 10°C. Drink preferably within two years from the vintage.
Its slightly spicy nose entices with intense aromas of summer fruits, particularly strawberry, Morello cherry and blueberry.
Ktima Biblia Chora Rosé is an attractive local expression of the variety that is well poised with excellent structure. Its cool acidity combined with its fruity character gives an opulently textured mouthfeel and a lively finish.
It is a fabulous partner to a variety of dishes such as shellfish and shrimp, seafood pasta, sautéed vegetables, and cold cuts.

About Biblia Chora Winery
Ktima Biblia Chora is located in the village of Kokkinochori, Kavala, in Northern Greece. It was established by the oenologists Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and Vangelis Gerovassiliou who planted the first organic vineyard of the estate in the foothills of the Mt Pangeon, in 1998. Today, the 57-hectare privately owned vineyard surrounds the modern winery, where all the wines of the estate produced.
Their goal is to craft wines of exceptional varietal expression and quality that showcase the best that the Pangeon ecosystem has to offer. Thus, the vineyard is cultivated with great care, and state-of-the-art technology blends with the winemaking tradition of the region and the producers’ know-how and experience.
