Wine maker’s notes
This red wine is produced exclusively from a single 1.5-acre vineyard situated in the Karaoutsa area of Nea Strantza in the heart of the Naoussa wine-growing region.
The vineyard lies at an altitude of 200 meters on sandy loam soil which is most suitable for bringing out all the aromas of the Xinomavro variety.
The wine is aged for one year in French oak barrels and for at least one additional year in the bottle, thus ensuring the full development of its rich bouquet.
Special characteristics: Well-developed deep red color. Rich bouquet of ripe red fruit, spices, and wood. Mouth full of tannins that develop nicely with a long aftertaste. The qualities of the wine are further developed while bottle-aging.
Serving suggestions: Roasted meats and meats with tomato-based sauces and yellow cheeses. Best served at 18°C.
Tip: The shipping cost per bottle drops significantly the more bottles you buy. Join forces with friends and family to buy more bottles and bring the cost down.
Important notes:
-It is an offense to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor if you are under the age of 18.
