About Mitira Lesvos, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The cultivation and processing of Mitira olive oil are completely organic. In order to ensure their olive oil’s low acidity level, premature olives are carefully hand-picked before being pressed via the method of cold-extraction. The oil press they partner withholds strict health and hygiene standards and is certified according to the quality standards of ISO 22000:2005 while holding additional certifications, ISO/TS22002-1:2009 and FSSC 22000 for the bottling of olive oil.
