The winter season in Santorini is providing more and more options for off-season tourists. Activities like hiking, visiting archaeological sites and wineries are always there, but who wouldn’t want to take advantage of the many sunny days of the Greek winter. With much lower rates, the visitors or Santorini that have decided to enjoy an “empty” island will be able to experience a caldera cruise with a catamaran.
Run daily, the cruise starts at 12:30 and finishes right after the sunset at about 17:30. You will be visiting all the spots you would during the summer, have lunch and drink on board, and even swim if it is warm and sunny! The itinerary will be typically following the route by the Red and White beaches, Mesa Vouno, the lighthouse and the Hot Springs. For the last stop, you will be heading to Thirasia island, where you will be able to enjoy your lunch on the catamaran. Depending on the weather conditions, the plan is to stop 3 times along this route.
Experience the “other side” of Santorini, admire the impressive rock formations from the sea level looking up, swim in the deep deep waters of the volcanic crater and let yourself be taken care of by the experienced staff of the catamaran. The winter offer is only at 100 euros per person (during the summer the equivalent itinerary and included services are at 170 euros). This rate includes transportation to/from your accommodation, food and drinks. You will also be provided with towels in case you decide to swim and blankets for colder days.
