This handmade head of a female figurine is inspired by the original Cycladic figurine of the ‘Folded arm’ type. The Cycladic figurines (sometimes called “Cycladic idols”) were found in the Cycladic islands (whence the name), in the southern Aegean Sea, and were created around the middle of the third millennium BC.
